Took a walk down to the Foss Basin recently and found this old car parked up near a house boat. Doesn't look like it is going anywhere soon, anyone know what make of car this is?
Would that car be considered street legal in GB? I know you can get a special vintage car license here in the States, but I think it has certain restrictions. I only ask because those front tires hardly look worn.
It did have a recent road tax disc on display which suggests it runs on the road but no windscreen.... Vintage cars are allowed on the roads in the UK. They have different regulations covering them, seatbelts are not compulsory for example as they are in modern cars.
Looks like it might be bits and pieces of several models.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a fun find Deb.
ReplyDeleteAccording to this site MKV 388G is a blue Triumph Vitesse.
ReplyDeleteInteresting piece of detective work Dave! Looks like it might be a Franken car as Revrunner suggests.
