Pocklington Canal


This is another view of the lovely Pocklington canal. Kingfishers skim along here, Otters swim through, and who knows what is hiding in those reedy edges?

  1. Nearer to my home I would expect to see a green heron, red-wing blackbirds, an egret--lots of birds of various types. I probably wouldn't see the water snakes . . .
