This is another view of the lovely Pocklington canal. Kingfishers skim along here, Otters swim through, and who knows what is hiding in those reedy edges?
Nearer to my home I would expect to see a green heron, red-wing blackbirds, an egret--lots of birds of various types. I probably wouldn't see the water snakes . . .
