A busy morning on Monkgate for walkers and cyclists and good weather for sightseers on the open topped bus.

Primitive Methodist

I have walked past this church hundreds of times but until I looked at this picture I had no idea it was named after John Petty. He was a religious writer, educator and Primitive Methodist minister. The church is known locally as Monkgate Methodist.

Planning Permission

I can only imagine how long it took to get planning permission to build an extension on the back of the building that sits next to Monk Bar and the City Walls.......
