This relatively new building is part of York St John University on Lord Mayors Walk. The overall effect created by the mix of wood and brick is pleasing, but that random wooden cladding always looks unfinished to me!

ReplyDeleteOur new library has glass with frosted lines that resemble a bar code, but it is not nearly as obvious as these lines. Perhaps a less random pattern might have looked better and offered a view out for those walking across.
