White Cat

York has between 20-30 cats located on building in and around the city. They may have originally been intended to scare away pigeons from roosting on ledges but now are purely decorative. Anyone planning a trip to York and wishing to follow the cat trail can find more information at: catsinyork
This white cat, seemingly gazing at its reflection in the lantern, can be found on a building in Gillygate.

  1. I love this idea! I just returned from a holiday in England and being a long time Coronation Street watcher, I mentioned to a friend in London that I had seen a great ginnel while out walking. He had no idea what I was talking about!
